I feel that during the holidays, religous displays are okay. After all our country was founded under Christian beliefs and our constitution also gives everyone the Freedom of Speech and Religion, as long as it doesn't infringe on the freedoms of others, and putting up a Christmas tree in the middle of town does not. So there is no reason to be politically correct during these times. Also Christmas is now so much in the American culture, that I believe there are those out there who do not celebrate it for what it truly is, Jesus' Birth, but for the gifts, and for Santa, and the North Pole. It is now a very secular holiday, and what is being dislayed, show more of the secular side of the holiday, there are no mangers just christmas trees and lights.0 Comments:
